Tiger Roll makes punters’ day with back-to-back Grand National victories

Bathed in the glorious sunshine at Aintree, Tiger Roll's class told in the end as he produced a spirited performance to win the 2019 Grand National

Tiger Roll proved himself an Aintree legend as he delivered back-to-back Grand Nationals for an ecstatic Gordon Elliot. With Davy Russell on board, Tiger Roll became the first horse since Red Rum to claim consecutive victories in the world's most testing horse race and just like last year, he left it late to edge himself into the lead but from there, he wasn't going to give it up.
