Rishi Sunak managed to mess up his message congratulating the England team for their achievements at the Women's World Cup.
The Lionesses were left heartbroken after they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Spain in the final of the tournament on Sunday morning.
Sarina Wiegman's team were bidding to win their first ever World Cup and the first World Cup by a senior England side since 1966.
But it wasn't to be as they were outplayed by an impressive Spain side, who won their first Women's World Cup.
Following England's defeat, the Prime Minister posted on X to say the team should nevertheless be proud of their achievement at the tournament.
However, he messed up the wording of the message.
Instead of congratulating the Lionesses on leaving everything out there on the pitch, he instead wrote that they "left absolutely nothing out there."
Many noticed the error, and pointed out to the PM that he may have got his words mixed up.
Labour MP Angela Eagle tweeted: "I think the phrase is ‘absolutely everything’ PM"
Sunak isn't the only major public figure to have scored a bit of an own goal over the Women's World Cup final.
Before the game, Prince William had to apologise for not attending the final, despite the fact he is the president of the FA.
