A reporter was sacked after asking a rogue question during the pre-fight press conference of Jake Paul's fight against Nate Diaz.
The pair will settle their differences in the Octagon on August 5 after almost two years of back and forth between the two fiery individuals.
As expected, the conference brought out some bizarre moments from all parties involved however one question in particular caused quite a stir with 'Derrick from Betr Media' appearing to try and organise his own fight.
Directing the question towards Diaz, he said: "I’m actually a boxer myself and I have been trying to get on this undercard.
"I’m just wondering if you think I could fight your brother, Nick?"
Diaz was visibly shocked at first but soon regained composure to respond with a brutal put down.
"You know my homeboys see you right now. That was stupid, huh? That was stupid," he said. "What’s your name?"
Derrick admitted he was 'pretty nervous' but gave the former UFC star his full name and the name of his workplace.
This time though, Diaz didn't hold back.
"Hey, Derrick from Betr Media, you’re a stupid a** motherf**ker," he said. "The f**k? You deserve to have your a*s whipped."
Paul then swiftly interjected and revealed that Derrick was in fact a member of his company and made his forgettable afternoon even more miserable.
"He works for my company. I’ll handle that later," Paul explained.
"I’m sorry about that Nate. I’ll fire him later.
He then added: "Derrick, shut up. Shut up."
The reporter then apologised before taking his seat.
