James Blunt explains the real meaning behind ‘You’re Beautiful’ is far darker than you actually thought

When it was first released back in 2004, James Blunt's You're Beautiful received so much airplay that no one ever wanted to hear it again.

While we all imagined it was a love song, even proving a popular option for the first dance at a wedding, James Blunt has since explained that it has little or nothing to do with romance. You'll recall the lyrics go as follows: In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, the singer said that he often gets labelled as "the soft romantic" and the fact is this simply isn't true.
