Chelsea have parted company with their head coach Liam Rosenior, after the former Strasbourg and Hull City manager succeeded in winning just 11 of his 23 games in charge.
The Englishman's run as manager reached a historic low point on Tuesday night, as the Blues lost 3-0 at away to Brighton, in the club's fifth successive Premier League defeat.
Across those five losses, Chelsea also failed to score a single goal, making the worst league run by a Chelsea side since 1912.
While disappointing for Rosenior, who will have seen the Chelsea job as a massive opportunity, the sacking does come tinged with a semblance of some good news, in that Rosenior is set to recieive a massive payout sum from his former employers.
When appointed from Strasbourg in January, the 41-year-old signed a bumper 5.5 year contract.
Considering he lasted less than six months into that deal, Rosenior's payout in expected to be significant.

The fee could be £24million, as per The Sun, ranking high amongst the top payouts in Premier League history.
It's important to note that the fees involved with managerial payouts are based on reporting in news outlets only, since the exact details of each contract are never made public.
