Paul Pogba is very nearly a Manchester United player again. No, really.
After a summer of speculation that's seen a hairdresser and a chef quoted as credible sources in the deal, both United and Juventus stated on Sunday that the French midfielder was due in Manchester for a medical.
Assuming Pogba hasn't worn himself out with all those basketball one-on-ones with Romelu Lukaku and kickboxing sessions, he will pass his medical and sign for United this week in a deal that will make him the most expensive player in the history of the game.
With the deal seemingly as good as done, we've now started to hear precisely how much United will pay to Juventus for the player. According to Andy Mitten, Juventus will pocket €105 million for Pogba, which amounts to £89m. But as he points out, before the European referendum and the subsequent crash of the pound, this would have been *only* £74m.

A difference of £15m, eh? 20 years ago, that kind of money would have bought you some bloke called Alan Shearer.
Pogba is returning to Europe on Sunday night, confirming this with a post bidding farewell to New York on his Instagram account.
