The report comes from Madrid-based Marca who, having seen Real Madrid seemingly miss out on Pogba, have been eager to tell their readership that the player would've much sooner moved to the Bernabeu this summer than Old Trafford.
Intriguingly, the report also claims that Manchester City were in pursuit of the 23-year-old in August of 2015, and even agreed a deal with Juventus to take him to the Etihad.
However, Pogba is said to have rejected the offer with Marca claiming the player explained he didn't wish to move so late in the transfer window and was keen to see what offers came his way in the summer of 2016.
