Newcastle United give Allan Saint-Maximin telling off for terrible car parking

Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has been told that he can't keep parking his Ferrari wherever he wants, with the Frenchman ignoring the 'no parking' signs. Towards the end of last season, the 25-year-old started to park his £150,000 black Ferrari directly outside the training ground entrance - despite it being marked out of bounds. He squeezed his supercar between the special bays reserved for the captain and manager. While players received a notice ordering them not to block the entrance, Saint-Maximin continued to park his car in the space. Speaking about the parking situation at the training ground, Magpies boss Eddie Howe has admitted that the club is planning to speak to the former OGC Nice man. Saint-Maximin backed for productive season

Despite his inability to park in an actual spot, Saint-Maximin has been backed as the 'best in the world 1v1' by his manager, with the former Bournemouth boss insisting that United coaches have worked hard with the winger to get a bigger output in all areas of the game, including defensively. "He's devastating when he's one v one," Howe added. "I wouldn't say there's a better player one v one from an attacking perspective than Maxi in world football. "So we need to get the ball in better areas. But I think the expectation of Maxi is that he's got to be able to deliver the physical effort that I want the team to deliver. "So there's been a lot of individual work towards that. And yeah, I'm expecting a great season from him." Saint-Maximin - who arrived at St. James' Park from Nice in 2019 - has registered 12 goals and 16 assists in 93 appearances for Newcastle. Related links:
