The 2018 Masters gets underway at Augusta this week, promising to be the most exciting in recent memory.

Just like he was last year, one of the pre-tournament favourites, even if he's never really been in serious contention on the final afternoon during his last seven Masters. As the world's top-ranked golfer at this moment in time, you'd fancy him to make a serious play for the championship this year.
In decent form and finally free of debilitating injuries, Tiger is seen as one of the favourites at Augusta by many. The likes of
Ernie Els and
Sir Nick Faldo have gone on record saying that they expect him to challenge. Could his decade-long major drought be about to come to an end.
Justin Rose - Decimal odds 15.0
Masters runner-up twice in the last three years, plenty appear to think the Englishman will be a serious challenger at Augusta this time around, including
2018 has undoubtedly seen a rejuvenated Bubba, who has shot up the World Golf Rankings to 21st place, despite being 117th not so long ago. A Masters victory might seem unlikely to many, but others - including

Jon Rahm's current world ranking of third suggests the Spaniard deserves to be spoken about as a potential contender at Augusta. The qualities to his game suggest he might well prove well-suited to the course, even if he failed to show this in 2017.
Deserves a mention as reigning champion, although the Spaniard may be overlooked by many for a second consecutive Masters title. Who knows, lightning might strike twice, however. But could well be a decent shout for a top six finish.
