Forget the Ander Herrera/David De Gea/Juan Mata Iberian clique, there's a burgeoning new bromance happening at Manchester United these days - young Luke Shaw and newbie Memphis Depay.
The pair have been seemingly inseparable during United's pre-season tour of the US. Whether by accident or design, Louis van Gaal paired the two together in training and a beautiful friendship has blossomed.

For his part, Shaw is playing it cool: "He [Memphis] is around my age...you could say we have got on really well but it is just a team thing really. With him playing on the left, it’s a good thing."
The feeling is mutual, with Memphis taking to social media to post a birthday message for his new partner on the left side of United's formation - and perhaps more importantly - his new friend...

Shaw has even taken the unprecedented step of changing his background on Twitter to an image of the pair training together - a sure indication that he's found a new BFF...
