Real reason for Leroy Sane’s withdrawal from Germany squad is completely understandable

There is no truth to the rumours of a falling out between Leroy Sane and Joachim Low.

Eyebrows were raised when Sane left Germany's team hotel after their 0-0 draw with world champions France on Thursday but there is no tension between the winger and Low. After missing out on a place in the World Cup squad, Sane made a seven-minute cameo for Germany this week but will not feature in the upcoming friendly against Peru after withdrawing from the squad. Sane's withdrawal comes just days after Germany teammate Toni Kroos insisted that the 22-year-old had to make a change when it comes to his attitude. "Sometimes you have the feeling with Leroy's body language that it's all the same if we win or lose," Kroos said. "He's a player who has everything you need to be a world-class player but sometimes you have to tell him he has to perform better."
