Leicester City manager Steve Cooper has said that the club have met with representatives from the Premier League over an 'awful human error' which gave Crystal Palace a goal last weekend.
Drawing 2-2 at Selhurst Park, the Foxes went 2-0 up before squandering the lead courtesy of a Jean-Phillipe Mateta brace.
Mateta's first goal was initially ruled out for offside, however VAR overturned the decision although replays appeared to show the French striker in an offside position.
Speaking ahead of the weekend fixture against Everton, Cooper stated:
"We're over it now, but it was an awful human error.
"We have seen images that show he clearly was offside, but they froze it at the wrong time - everything seen has been a false image."
"We had a massive error go against us, errors like that shouldn't happen and it's why we're changing to the semi-automated system," Cooper claimed.
"We felt very let down by it. We needed to stand up for the club and tell the Premier League what we thought."
