The Liverpool boss has been told to 'get on with it'

Jurgen Klopp has been told to 'get on with it' after he complained about the congested Christmas fixture schedule and criticised other clubs for blocking the return of five substitutes. The Liverpool manager has consistently called for substitutions to be increased from the current three per game to five per game to help deal with the current fixture congestion. The German also took aim at Burnley earlier this week, saying that he was not sure how many of their players are internationals and because of this, they are resting when "our players play three games". However, Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has claimed that Klopp 'knew what he was getting into' when he took the Liverpool job and told him to 'just get on with it'. "It is what it is," Parlour told talkSPORT. "When you are managing top clubs, you expect to have internationals in your team – so just get on with it.

"I can understand that a little bit, as the following game on New Year’s Day, that’s another three days recovery. "You can see what he was coming across there. You’ve just got to get on with it." Liverpool host Brendan Rodgers' Leicester once again on Tuesday night, hoping to close the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City.
