Jake Paul has once again called out Canelo Alvarez following the Mexican's shock defeat to Dmitry Bivol, claiming that he will beat the all-time great within three years. Canelo suffered a surprising unanimous decision loss to WBA (Super) light-heavyweight titleholder Bivol on Saturday night in Las Vegas, with the 31-year-old being dominated throughout the bout. "And just like that Canelo Alvarez loses to Dmitry Bivol," said Paul in a video posted on social media.

"An amazing fight by Bivol. I'm two inches bigger than Bivol and 40lb heavier.

"Give me three years and I take out Canelo in the same way. He was on the ropes like he won but he only won three rounds in the entire fight.

"Eddie Hearn, f*** you, you can suck my d***. I'm coming and I'm beating Canelo in three f****** years, I put that on my mama.

"Congrats to Dmitry Bivol, he showed Canelo is easily beatable by a bigger man which is what I've known for a long time.

"Believe in yourself and don't listen to those British s***bags like Eddie Hearn."

Jake Paul set for return to the ring

Paul, who boasts a professional record of 5-0, has knocked out all four of his opponents to date. He has fought Tyron Woodley twice, stopping the UFC legend in their December bout last year. The 25-year-old was set to face-off against Tommy Fury last year, but the Brit pulled out due to injury. However, Fury is now thought to be a potential candidate for Paul's next fight, alongside former UFC star Anderson Silva.

Canelo and Bivol agree to rematch

Canelo and Bivol both agreed to an immediate rematch after the pair's bout on Saturday night, with the Mexican insisting that it 'doesn't end like this'.

"He's a great champion," Canelo said of Bivol in the ring after the fight.

"Sometimes in boxing, you win. Sometimes you lose. Not making excuses. I lost today and he won.

"He's a really good fighter. He's a fighter that comes in and comes out. I also felt his power. I think it was good fight. I felt like I maybe did enough to win the fight but that's boxing.

"Of course I [want a rematch]," he concluded. 'This doesn't end like this."
