The government of Gabon have announced that they are suspending their national football team after a 'disgraceful' Afcon appearance.
Not only that but they've also sacked their head coach and kicked Aubameyang off the squad after suffering three defeats at Afcon.
The acting sports minister of Gabon announced the news on television after they were eliminated from the tournament in Morocco.
He said: “Given the Panthers’ disgraceful performance at the Africa Cup of Nations, the government has decided to dissolve the coaching staff, suspend the national team until further notice, and exclude players Bruno Ecuele Manga and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang."
