Manchester United midfielder Fred was sent off as Erik ten Hag's side were defeated 1-0 by Atletico Madrid in Norway. United were playing the penultimate game of their preseason in Oslo on Saturday afternoon. Despite producing a host of decent chances to score in the game, they fell behind inside the final ten minutes due to a smartly taken goal by Joao Felix. As United looked to level the scores, Fred - already on a yellow card - brought Alvaro Morata on halfway.
