Premier League chief executive Richard Masters will attend Arsenal's game against Everton instead of Manchester City's home fixture against West Ham United on Sunday.
The Premier League title race has gone down to the final day and although Man City are the overwhelming favourites to retain the title for a fourth year in a row, there is still a chance for the Gunners.
Arsenal need to better Man City's result in order to win the Premier League for the first time in 20 years.
Alison Britain will go to the Etihad Stadium in place of Masters as he avoids the scenario of giving Man City the trophy when they've been charged with 115 breaches of the league's financial fair play rules.
Masters was at the Etihad Stadium last season to see City become champions.
Fans of other clubs have grown extremely impatient while waiting to hear what City's punishment will be, especially as both Everton and Nottingham Forest have received points deductions for breaking profit and sustainability rules.
Asked about when people can expect to hear the outcome last month, Masters said: "We can’t comment on the case, the date has been set, and the case will resolve itself in the near future."
He then continued: "It’s not for the football authorities to start being selective about who they would like to win the league. The key point is that you’ve got that jeopardy until the final day."
A hearing is expected to take place later this year while the final outcome is set to be revealed in the summer of 2025.
Man City strongly deny all charges.
