Portsmouth player pulls out the coolest cushion header in history

No tactics, just vibes

Portsmouth's Michael Jacobs went viral on social media after his unique cushioned header during their game against Charlton Athletic on Monday night. Although they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Fratton Park it was Jacobs' inventive piece of skill that was the main talking point of the game on the South Coast. Coming off the bench in the 75th minute and looking to get Pompey back into the game, the 30-year-old looked like he had ended an attack for the home side after falling over on the slippery surface. However, instead of letting the attack die, Jacobs improvised and managed to somehow cushion a header which was inch-perfect for teammate George Hirst to latch onto.
