Another big-name signing looks set to depart Saudi Arabia after what feels more like a holiday for some players.
Neymar was easily the marquee signing of the country's alarmingly high spending spree last summer when he left Paris Saint-Germain for Al Hilal.
But the Brazilian has already set his sights on his next move and promised one of his former clubs that he will return when his contract expires in the summer of 2025.
It's not a season that will live long in the memory for the forward. So far, Neymar has played just five times for the Pro League outfit only for an ACL injury suffered while on international duty back in October left him ruled out for the rest of the season.
While out with injury the 31-year-old has been across the globe and recently returned to Brazil to see former club Santos and carried the Campeonato Paulista trophy onto the pitch ahead of the first leg of their final against Palmeiras on Sunday.
And according to UOL via Mundo Deportivo, Neymar promised that he would return to win the club in 2025.
It was at Santos where Neymar made his name, scoring 72 goals in 140 appearances and won six major honours with the club, including the Copa Libertadores in 2011.
He eventually earned himself a move to Barcelona before becoming the world's most expensive player once joining Paris Saint-Germain but has been affected by injuries throughout his career.
However it feels like he wants a return to Santos to prove himself one last time.
