The midfielder moved back to France this summer, putting an end to his nine-year stay in England where he played for Newcastle, Tottenham and Watford.
Sissoko stayed for just one season at Vicarage Road, scoring two goals in 36 appearances before returning to his native country this summer.
Since his return, the midfielder has featured 11 times in all competitions for Nantes across Ligue 1 and the Europa League.
It also remains to be seen as to whether or not he'll be picked for France's World Cup squad.
Didier Deschamps' side are looking to retain their World Cup crown and begin their defence against Australia on November 22 before taking on Denmark and Tunisia in Group D.
