Manchester City could face relegation from the Premier League if the most serious of the alleged 115 charges are proven against them, a breaking report has revealed.
The hearing has recently been moved forward to as early as next month, with the outcome known early in the new year.
Due to last ten weeks, commission members are expected to deliver the verdict at the start of 2025.
Alleged to have not provided accurate financial information over nine separate seasons, City could face relegation from the Premier League if found guilty.
Alleged breaches include not providing full details of former manager Roberto Mancini's pay over his four seasons at the club, as well as not providing full details of players' remuneration, including that of Yaya Toure between 2010 to 2016.
The Premier League chief executive Richard Masters spoke in April, stating that a date had been set, adding:
“The case will resolve itself at some point in the near future.”
