Jordan Pickford has been described as 'cringe' by some football fans for what his behaviour following Everton's win against Newcastle.
The Toffees dispatched the North East side 3-0 in a barnstorming win at Goodison Park to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.
It's the first time they've been outside of the bottom there since the club was handed a 10-point deduction by the Premier League for breaching financial rules.
Emotions were high at full-time, and as celebrations broke out amongst the fans and players, several Newcastle players seemed to take issue with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
They rushed over to the England international, visibly angry with him for some reason. In the end, Newcastle midfielder Joelinton had to be led away by security whilst Pickford threw his gloves to the ground and had to be held back by his teammates.
As the 29-year-old - who is a boyhood Sunderland fan and started his career at the club - walked off the pitch he couldn't resist a parting dig at the travelling Toon support.
The keeper shadow-boxed towards the away end with a huge grin on his face, before walking down the tunnel.
Everton later shared a clip of the moment on their social media channels.
Pickford's behaviour didn't go down well with some though, who labelled him "cringe."
One person commented: "Holy cringe."
Another said: "Stop milking it."
And a third wrote: "What is he doing? Mega cringe."
But Everton fans couldn't get enough of it, with one writing: "As if this night could get any better!|"
A second simply said: "Legend" whilst another commented "I love you lad."
And someone else joked: "You can take the boy out of Sunderland but you can't take the Sunderland out of the boy."
