Hector Bellerín responds to fans’ criticism after comments about Arsenal Fan TV

Over the course of the hour long Q&A, he covered a range of topics, including how he adapted to life in England at the age of 16 and Arsenal Fan TV. His comments on the latter sparked some outrage and it's easy to see why. No football fan wants to be accused of not being a proper fan, of not caring, especially by a player in an underperforming team. Bellerín labelled those those success depends on the club's failure as not being real fans, and this caused uproar within the Arsenal Fan TV community. It's a complicated situation; the YouTube channels videos do attract more viewers when Arsenal lose, because opposition fans lie to indulge in a bit of schadenfreude, but that does not mean that those fans who feature in the videos want Arsenal to lose for their own personal gain.
