Christian Eriksen has admitted that it is "weird" becoming a Manchester United player in his first interview since signing for the club. Eriksen joined on a free transfer after his contract at Brentford expired, signing a three-year deal to become the third arrival of the summer alongside Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez. Eriksen could make debut on opening day of the season

Eriksen has yet to play for United in their pre-season schedule but is expected to play a major role this season as Ten Hag and co try to secure Champions League football at least. The midfielder was a prominent figure in the Brentford side last season, featuring 11 times, scoring once and assisting four times as the Bees secured survival in their first-ever top-flight campaign.
