Both Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel were sent off at full-time after clashing on the touchline twice, the first of those after Højbjerg's goal in which Conte celebrated in the face of Tuchel.
Conte then retaliated as Tuchel held onto the hand of the Italian during the post-match handshake, giving referee Anthony Taylor no option but to show them red cards. The two have both been charged over alleged improper behaviour.
Meanwhile the Football Association are investigating comments made by Tuchel about Taylor during the post-match conference.
