The comedy of errors continued at Manchester United as Andre Onana made a glaring error to give Sheffield United the lead.
United have come under huge criticism after scraping through the FA Cup semi final with a penalty shootout victory against Coventry City on Sunday and were expected to drastically improve against the Premier League's basement club, Sheffield United.
But given that United have won just one of their last seven league games that was never going to be a dead cert and the embarrassment continued.
In the 35th minute of the game, Onana tried to pass the ball out wide but instead cheaply gave away possession, allowing Jayden Bogle in to take full advantage and fire home to give Chris Wilder's side the lead.
Luckily for Onana and United his blushes were spared on the stroke of half time as former Blades defender Harry Maguire equalised for the Red Devils.
Although it wouldn't be mathematically impossible, United's hopes of Champions League qualification would be all-but-ended if they are unable to win.
