While most of the fallout from UFC 229 has focused around the post-match beatdown delivered to Conor McGregor following his defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov, there was at least a lighter moment on the UFC 229 card after Derrick Lewis KO'ed Alexander Volkov earlier in the night. Having lagged behind for the majority of the fight, Lewis landed a right hand in the closing stages to knock out Volkov at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. USA in this ho.” Asked about whether he would soon be in contention for the heavyweight title, he admitted he needed to undergo some serious cardio training: “I need to sit my black ass down and do some more cardio.
