David Silva has gone full Pep by shaving his famous mullet and fans are devastated

David Silva is nothing is not consistent.

The diminutive Spaniard has only had two permanent clubs. He joined Valencia's youth academy when he was only 14 years of age in 2000, and left a decade later when he moved to Manchester City in 2010 at a still youthful 24. Seven years later, the now 31-year-old has cemented his place as one of the Premier League side's greatest ever players - if not the greatest. He has been a model professional and consistently enchanted the Etihad season after season. As well as his beguiling skills and commitment to the City cause, another thing that has remains remarkably consistent is Silva's hair. His beautifully conditioned and strangely acceptable mullet has become something of a trademark. But all good things come to an end, and now Silva has decided to have a dramatic change of image...by going 'full Pep'. That's right, dashing David has taken to the clippers and shaved his gorgeous mane off ahead of the new season.
