Conor McGregor responds to weight trouble accusation

Floyd Mayweather doesn't think Conor McGregor is going to make weight for their August 26 bout.

Well, either Floyd Mayweather actually believes Conor McGregor is struggling with his weight cut for this camp or he's just playing some good old fashioned mind games with 'The Notorious'. McGregor has been playing up his size advantage in the build up to this fight, most notably referring to himself as a '170 lb Irish Gorilla'  who is 'going to 'rip his head off and play football with it,' in a recent episode of All Access: Mayweather vs McGregor". Mayweather subsequently told FightHype.com that he believed McGregor was 'extremely heavy' tipping the scales at around 164 pounds. At that point, he didn't believe McGregor had enough time to drop 10 pounds to make the 154 lb limit.

"I don't think he's gonna make the weight. Even if he does make the weight, that's even better, but if he doesn't make the weight, we're still gonna fight. But it's gonna be a heavy fine. Gimme that money."

https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/898286340168601600 When asked about Mayweather's accusation in Las Vegas, McGregor dismissed it fervently. Although Mayweather claimed to have a mole planted in McGregor's camp, the Dubliner reckons he knows sweet fuck all.

"Tell him to shut his fucking mouth. He knows nothing, fool of a thing.” “Let him keep praying. Praying for weight. Praying for fatigue. Praying for me to take a back step. All he’s doing is praying but he’s praying to the new God of boxing.”

The last time McGregor weighed in for a fight was for UFC 205 in November 2016. He weighed in at 154.4 lbs, just under the 155 lb lightweight championship limit.
