Conor Gallagher has finally signed at Atlético Madrid after enduring a long transfer saga with Chelsea.
The English midfielder looked all set to join the Spanish giants over two weeks ago before Chelsea pulled the plug on the deal citing other transfers not going their way.
After The Blues saw the collapse of the move for Samu Omorodion, Gallagher's own transfer to Atléti looked to be on the rocks, however his move was revived after Chelsea agreed to a deal that will Joao Felix go the other way from the Spanish outfit.
Gallagher was frozen out of the squad at Stamford Bridge at the start of the season causing the player to look for a move away.
The transfer has been confirmed now by Fabrizio Romano with the deal reported to be worth £36m on a five-year contract.
The club teased the move an hour ago with an interesting cartoon that was simply captioned "Beware of the Pitbull"
Atlético have now released a more official photo with a selection of images of the player.
