Katie Taylor’s opponent misses weight for the second time in Cardiff

There was high drama in Cardiff at the weigh-ins for Katie Taylor's world title fight.

Katie Taylor was scheduled to challenge WBA lightweight champion Anahi Sanchez for the her title on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Carlos Takam in the Welsh capital on Saturday night. In her seventh professional bout, Taylor was set to fight for her first world title in the pro ranks, but there were fears that she may have to wait after her opponent missed weight. Taylor did her job and came in at 9st 8lbs, but Sanchez tipped the scales one pound over the limit at 9st 10lbs. She had two hours to cut the extra pound in order to keep her title.
