Cesar Azpilicueta forced to defuse beef between Tammy Abraham and Jorginho

Tammy was not a happy boy

Chelsea picked up their first Premier League victory at Stamford Bridge against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 4-0 win while barely getting out of second gear. Palace set up camp in their own half, rarely venturing out of it and being quickly shut down whenever they dared to attack. A first Chelsea goal for Ben Chilwell opened the scoring after 50 minutes, before Kurt Zouma doubled their lead 15 minutes later, heading home a cross from their new left-back. Their third came from the penalty spot after young defender Tyrick Mitchell tripped Tammy Abraham, and Jorginho calmly dispatched the penalty with his trademark technique. The Blues were then awarded another penalty less than five minutes later after Mamadou Sakho's second brain fart of the game, as he tripped Kai Havertz in the box. Abraham, having played well but not found the back of the net, picked up the ball and placed it on the spot in preparation to take the penalty. But captain Cesar Azpilicueta stepped in before the young Englishman could take the pen, insisting that Jorginho - the designated penalty taker - took this one as well. Jorginho didn't look too fussed either way, but Azpilicueta was adamant that Abraham would not claim this penalty for himself and that the team stuck to the agreed order. Thankfully for Azpilicueta, Jorginho scored the second penalty, sending Vicente Guaita the same way and rolling the ball into the vacant net.
