Betting on Brendan Rodgers to retake the Liberty Stadium hot-seat won't make you a lot of money but it's probably the safest bet.

Rodgers has dropped to 10/11 to fill the gap left by Garry Monk after being sacked by Swansea on Wednesday afternoon. Rodgers was the man who guided the Swans to their first season in the Premier League, becoming the first Welsh team to do so, and spent two seasons with the club. His stock may have dropped after being let go by Liverpool earlier this season but bookmakers certainly fancy Rodgers to return to the Liberty before Christmas.
