The California native then went as far as to bet $100,000 dollars of his own money on McGregor not being able to knock the YouTube star out.
"I promise you. I'll put a hundred thousand dollars on him not knocking out Jake Paul - I'll put a hundred thousand on it.
"You can mark it down right now."
22-year-old Garcia, who wants to be known as the 'last greatest fighter of all time', said McGregor would be better off sticking to MMA.
"People can say whatever they want. When I watched Conor McGregor fight [Floyd] Mayweather... Conor can't box. He can't box.
"If he was smart, he'd ask Jake Paul to go in the Octagon with him. If you're the bigger star, you should do that because Conor's not that good of a boxer in my opinion. And I'm just keeping it real, 100 percent."
