Bayern Munich have reportedly told Barcelona that they want paying in full if they are to allow Robert Lewandowski to leave the club as they are not convinced the Catalan side will exist in the next few years. The 33-year-old Polish international is keen on a move away from the Allianz Arena after a number of successful years in Germany, where he has made 375 appearances for the Bavarians, registering a staggering 344 goals and 72 assists. Lewandowski still has 12 months remaining on his current deal with Bayern, but the former Borussia Dortmund front man is a target for LaLiga giants Barcelona - with the Catalan club desperate to secure his signature this summer. It is thought that the striker favours a move to Xavi's side and wants Bayern to allow him to leave the club. However, the Bundesliga champions are reluctant to let him depart.

Should Bayern opt to sell Lewandowski to Barcelona, they will demand that the transfer fee is paid in full, rather than in instalments, according to The Athletic reporter Raphael Honigstein. Speaking on The Totally Football show, Honigstein said: "Bayern [Munich] have apparently told Barcelona that they don't want any instalments because they don't know if they [Barcelona] are going to be around in one or two years time, they want all the money, up front, in cash and that is one of the sticky points. https://twitter.com/Football_TaIk/status/1544604825257918470 He added: "There has actually been a tacit acknowledgement within the team that the best thing for all parties is for Lewandowksi to go because you don't want a disgruntled Lewandowksi playing one more year. "There's been significant unrest in the dressing room about his behaviour over the last few weeks to suggest that it would be best for him to leave, but Bayern have played a high stakes game of poker and there is a problem if Barcelona, not so much call their bluff, but fold because their own hand is so weak. "I still think the most realistic scenario is Lewandowksi going to Barcelona, I think there will be a way for this to happen." Barcelona have made Lewandowski their main transfer target and want him to be available for their pre-season tour to the United States which begins on July 16.
