Ange Postecoglou has distanced himself from reports linking him to the England job, saying he has "no idea what's going on."
According to the Telegraph, the Australian is expected to be on the list of potential candidates considered and has been tracked by the Football Association “for years”.
Other names linked with the job are Graham Potter, Eddie Howe, Mauricio Pochettino and even Pep Guardiola.
However, it seems Postecoglou is none the wiser about any interest from the FA, and is completely focused on his role at Tottenham.
"I'm in the middle of... the start of pre-season," Postecoglou told Sky Sports in Edinburgh.
"I'm the Tottenham manager, and I've got nothing else but trying to bring success to this football club.
"Until I do that, there's no point in me thinking about anything else. I had a nap this afternoon, mate, so I have no idea what's going on."
Postecoglou does have previous experience in international football, having managed Australia from 2013 to 2017.
He told Sky Sports that he "loved coaching the national team" but felt there was a "natural end" to his time in international management.
He said: "I enjoyed my time [as Australia boss]. We won the Asia Cup, qualified for the World Cup.
"But with all these things, there's always a natural end, and I thought there was a natural end for me there. I loved coaching the national team."
Meanwhile, former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has ruled himself out of contention for the big job at Wembley. The German coach is still committed to taking a prolonged break of at least a year before returning to management.
