Brought to you by BoyleSports
Here at JOE we're bringing you weekly episodes of our new video podcast series, showcasing expert horse racing analysis, insights, and stories you won't find anywhere else - in partnership with BoyleSports.
The show is hosted by the magnificent Dave Orton, whose charismatic and personable style gets the best out of the panel and will keep you entertained throughout. He is joined weekly by one of our two racing gurus - Luke Harvey or John 'Shark' Hanlon - and a celebrity guest with a passion for the sport.
You can read more about the show and our first celebrity guest, Tristan Phipps, in our episode one preview.
This week's show sees the 'Shark' Hanlon take his place as our horse racing expert - and you will also find out how he got his iconic nickname.
The Kilkenny native is famed for training winners, tackling the Gold Cup, and even bringing a horse into the pub. He is also the man behind Hewick, the bargain buy turned Grade 1 champion – enough said.
He is joined by our celebrity guest, Will Greenwood - a Rugby World Cup winner turned pundit - to help tackle our three segments. With the Six Nations in full flow, there is no better man to have in the studio than the legendary England centre.
Here you will find the latest racing trends, hot tips, and the ones to watch - with a focus on the riders and trainers at the upcoming Cheltenham Festival. Tune in to hear Will, John and Dave discuss injuries in horse racing and professional rugby, and the growing trend of heading to Benidorm to watch the Festival.
Once again our guest and expert will use their paddles – one side green horse (YES), one side red horse (NO) - to make a call on the questions put to them by Dave. Their answers will be sent to the odds maestros at BoyleSports who turn their choices into exclusive Jockeys and Jackpots betting combos.
This section is all about Will and his experiences with horses. He discusses the differences and similarities between rugby and racing, his favourite racecourse, and the Irish v English rivalry - both on the pitch and on the track!
The second episode is LIVE NOW – so put your troubles to one side for half an hour, and feast your eyes and ears on this glorious episode filled with top-tier racing insight and stories. If you haven't yet watched our first episode, make sure to do so, and don't forget to tune in next week as well.
