Flight diverts after horse ‘gets loose’ in plane

A flight was forced to divert and land in its original airport after a horse became loose in the cargo hold.
The flight, which had taken off from New York’s JKF airport and was travelling to Liege in Belgium, had to turn around from Boston 90 minutes after take off.
A reconstruction of the incident was uploaded to YouTube in which they claim that it happened shortly after 4.06pm local time (9.06pm GMT) on November 9.
It added that the pilot reported the incident of the horse getting loose at around 31,000ft before requesting to return to New York as the cabin crew were unable to get the horse secured.
After landing back, the pilot then allegedly requested a veterinarian after claiming that the horse was "in difficulty" although there was no inclination on what had happened to the horse.
Flightradar24 showed that the flight had taken off again 6.35pm local time (11.35pm GMT), landing in Belgium six hours after take off at 6.49am local time (5.49am GMT) on the morning of November 10.
