It's been described as a 'new era' for British politics

A new YouGov poll has put Reform just one point behind Labour, pushing the Tories down into third.

The rise of Reform to second and the Tories being pushed down to third could be the sign of a new era of three-way party politics in Britain, Sky News reports, with Keir Starmer and Labour looking set to do battle with opposition from two right-wing parties.

Since winning a landslide election victory last summer, Labour's support in the polls has dropped significantly.

And earlier this month, a major poll found that one in four people who voted for Labour at the general election now regret doing so.

Meanwhile, Reform have seen their support boom in the last six months, drawing support from both sides of the political spectrum.

Five per cent of Labour's support at the general election has now switched to Reform, whilst 16 per cent of those who voted Conservative now say they'd support Nigel Farage's party.

Just 10 per cent of those asked said the government had a successful first six months in office, with 60 per cent saying it had been unsuccessful.
