Two political opponents in America, from different parties, have released a joint campaign video in an attempt to promote civility and respect in the country. Chris Peterson (Republican) and Spencer Cox (Democrat) came together to create a campaign ad, with both of them claiming that they can disagree politically without hating each other. The ad sees the two of them say: "We can debate issues without degrading each other’s character. We can disagree without hating each other. So let’s show the country there is a better way" Cox posted the video on his Twitter page, with the caption: "I’m not sure this has ever been done before... but as our national political dialogue continues to decline, my opponent Chris Peterson and I decided to try something different. We can disagree without hating each other.
