The man had apparently been keen to stay with her to but had to leave with his mates soon after rescuing her, so she never got his name.
Along with the man, Tegan's £40 boots also played a part in saving her, with the thick rubber soles acting as insulation when she landed on the live rails. Although she still suffered burns to her back, legs and arms from the 630-volt line, the boots stopped the electric shock being fatal.
She said that if she does ever meet her rescuer she would "want to cry."
She added: "I would just be so lost for words because at the end of the day, if it wasn't for this guy, I would genuinely be dead. I wouldn't be here."
A TfL spokesperson said: “We are sorry to hear that a customer at King’s Cross St Pancras station sustained minor injuries after a fall onto the Victoria line track and would like to thank those who helped her. We wish her a full and quick recovery and want to reassure customers that their safety is paramount to TfL.”
