A woman in Doncaster has voiced her anger at paragliders who made her think Hamas were invading the city.
Last week, Palestinian militant group Hamas were filmed using paragliders as they launched a horrific attack on the Supernova music festival in Israel.
More than 260 bodies were recovered from the festival site following the attack, according to rescue agency Zaka.
A few days after the attack, a woman in the village of Armthorpe, Doncaster, lashed out at paragliders in South Yorkshire when they gave her a "fright" after passing overhead.
According to Doncaster Free Press, the woman wrote on social media: "Whoever thought it was funny to parasail over the village, it was in extremely poor taste.
"Take your twisted hatred somewhere else.
"There was two parachutes with engines like Hamas used at that festival, gave me a fright."
She added that she thought the paragliders were performing a "scare tactic or protest."
The attack on Supernova was part of a wider surprise attack launched by Hamas on Israel, in which militants killed more than 1,400 people and took almost 200 hostages.
In response, Israel has launched a massive campaign of air strikes and bombardments on Gaza, killing an estimated 3,000 people, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
Israel has also blocked supplies of food, water, fuel, and electricity to Gaza, with at least 600,000 people having fled the northern Gaza Strip.
