A Florida woman is back behind bars just days after being released on bond for drug trafficking after officers found meth in her tote bag that read: 'Definitely Not a Bag Full of Drugs'.
Teryn Acri's latest run in with the law began when she was a passenger in a car that was pulled over by a deputy last week.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office took to Facebook to share the story.
Deputy Lexi Gordon's K9 unit dog, Aurora, detected something in a 'few bags' belonging to Acri that were inside the car.
The driver gave permission for the deputy to search the car, insisting that there should be nothing illegal inside.
However, the deputies found the bags were loaded with illegal contraband.
They wrote: "Well unfortunately for him, this is the part you just can’t make up, as Acri had had a few bags with her and one of them had the words “Definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs” printed on it!!
"The bag was filled with snacks…nah just kidding it was actually drugs, that’s right, she actually had a bag with drugs in it that said on the side “Definitely Not A Bag Full Of Drugs”!!"
According to the sheriff's office, they found methamphetamine, needles, Narcan, digital scales, small baggies, cut straws and other items associated with drugs.
Acri had been arrested on Jan. 6, but was freed two days later after meeting her $15,500 bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
Her new charges are practically identical to the ones she's facing from earlier this month. A bond has yet to be set and she remains in jail.
