Viral ‘bear or man’ question leaves internet divided

A viral 'bear or man' TikTok has sparked a huge debate online about women's safety.

Out of the seven people presented with the bizarre question, only one said they would rather run into a man.

The video went viral and sparked a lot of debate around the controversial question.

Lots of men commented that they understood why the women would choose a bear, while droves of other women backed the answers from those in the original video.

One male TikTok user wrote: "I get that, you know what to expect from a bear."

Another guy commented: "The comments on this post make me sad I’m sorry yall 😔."

One female user wrote: "I'm terrified of bears. I had a fear of bears from my childhood. THEY SCARE ME TO MY SOUL. And id still choose a bear."

Other TikTok users have since filmed themselves posing the hypothetical question to loved ones.

One Twitter user wrote: "Reading responses to the bear vs man in the woods question and someone said 'if I die by a bear I’ve fed its survival instincts, if I die by a man I’ve likely only fed his fantasies.' And the way my whole jaw needs to be scraped off the floor…"

Another user created a poll which proved to be very one-sided.
