Things could have ended really badly for the driver of this car in America.

A fireball engulfed the vehicle in South Carolina with the chap trapped inside. If Hollywood films have taught us anything it probably would have exploded into a ball of flames in seconds. Lucky for him a cop turned up before he was barbecued alive. A dash camera captured the moment Mount Pleasant officer Adam Willis lept from his squad car and dragged the guy out of the flames. The man's pants fall down as he makes an escape, which makes more sense after an incident report found he was apparently intoxicated in the vehicle and hadn't realised it was on fire.
