Now we know what you're thinking, and no, this isn't a wind-up. This will actually appear on tomorrow's edition of The Sun. This is 100% legit.
Look, here's a tweet from The Sun with David Hockney standing in front of the masthead he designed.

But wait, it gets better. In an article about Hockney's work, The Sun explain that the artist "created the updated design on his iPad". What they neglect to say is that it took him less than three minutes and was completely by accident.
Alas, these last two points are not true: this was entirely deliberate. Hockney himself said: "I was delighted to be asked. Once I thought about the idea it didn’t take me long. The sun and The Sun.”

Cor, this art business is trickier than it looks.
The answer is clear. David Hockney is working to take down The Sun from the inside. We're not the only ones who think so.
