The Queen pens letter to Gareth Southgate ahead of Euro 2020 final

The Queen has written a letter to England manager Gareth Southgate wishing him and the team luck ahead of Sunday's Euro 2020 final against Italy. In the message, Queen Elizabeth II recalls presenting the World Cup to Bobby Moore 55 years ago and seeing "what it meant to the players, management and support staff" to win the final. Her Majesty also highlights the "spirit, commitment and pride" of Southgate and the entire England team. The full letter reads: "Mr. Gareth Southgate, OBE (Manager), "55 years ago I was fortunate to present the World Cup to Bobby Moore and saw what it meant to the players, management and support staff to reach and win the final of a major international football tournament.
