Sky Sports Formula One presenter Karun Chandhok has called for the FIA to take action after Cara Delevingne snubbed an interview with Martin Brundle.
Brundle's grid walks have become an iconic part of Sky's F1 coverage and the British Grand Prix was no different as the commentator took his place on the track at Silverstone.
Several stars such as Pep Guardiola, Liam Payne and Florence Pugh all happily obliged but when he asked to speak to Delevingne, the 30-year-old opted out.
After being told by a representative that "she doesn't want to talk" - something the Suicide Squad star later confirmed in a tweet - Brundle then responded: “That’s the deal now, everybody talks on the grid… can we have a quick chat at Sky F1? Good to see you on the grid.”
Despite his best efforts, the former British racing driver was unlucky in his pursuit, before sarcastically adding: “Okay, well, I’m sure it would have been extremely interesting.”
In a tweet on Monday, Chandhok defended his colleague and the former driver-turned-pundit called for action to be taken against "rude"people given grid passes.
He tweeted:"I honestly think we should have a 'chart of rudeness' in F1! Next time, take the grid passes from people who don't care and give it some deserving kids who will treasure the experience."
Chandhok's opinion received mixed reviews while Delevingne herself addressed the situation with a tweet of her own, responding to a thread, saying: “I was told to say no so I did. Thank you for seeing both sides xxx.”
