A second earthquake has struck in south-eastern Turkey, with its epicentre near the city of Kahramanmaras, according to reports.
The US Geological Survey said it had measured the strength of the quake to be 7.5 magnitude.

The BBC reports that the latest estimates are that 320 have died in Syria alone, with at 912 having been killed in Turkey. The tremor's damage has centred on southern Turkey and Syria, but it was also felt in nearby Lebanon, Gaza and Cyprus. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described the earthquake as the country’s largest disaster since 1939. He said a further 5,383 people were wounded.
