Kundra attended the raid with officers and then had his police custody was extended until July 27. Kundra's wife, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, pleaded his innocence and insisted that business partner Pradeep Bakshi was actually responsible for the crimes. She claimed she was 'unaware of the exact nature of the content' but described it as 'erotica' rather than pornography. Police are reportedly interested in discovering whether Shetty benefited from her husband's alleged criminal exploits since she is the director of his firm Viaan.
